Before embarking on Emblem, I had no prior knowledge about the health
benefits of extra virgin olive oil. After extensive research, I learned that EVOO is the only "food" that helps to prevent chronic diseases. With this knowledge, I felt obligated to be the voice and the healer for my community. Now is the time to reverse and end serious underlying medical conditions before it's too late.

I started Let’s Fight Back, with four clients who take medication for diabetes, high blood pressure, and more. I started them on a 12-week Mediterranean diet, which is a diet that has been medically proven to decrease the risk of heart disease, stroke, early death, and weight loss. They all had amazing results. To help support the diet grocery lists, weekly meal plans, and weekly encouragement through scripture will be provided. Each client will have direct access to me and weekly Zoom meetings.

Mediterranean Diet & Extra Virgin Olive Oil

The Mediterranean Diet is a nutritional recommendation based on the traditional dietary patterns of Southern Europe. This diet is characterized by the high consumption of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, legumes, unrefined cereals, fruits and vegetables; moderate to high consumption of fish and dairy products; and low consumption of non-fish meat. 
Olive oil is the primary source of added fat in the Mediterranean diet. Olive oil provides monounsaturated fat, which has been found to lower total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein (LDL or "bad") cholesterol levels. Nuts and seeds also contain monounsaturated fat.
Olives and Extra Virgin Olive Oil as the main source of healthy fat, with additional powerful bioactive compounds, is central to the Mediterranean Diet. There is increasing evidence describing the unique and powerful role of Extra Virgin Olive Oil at the heart of the numerous regional variations of the Mediterranean Diet. Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a crucial enabler of a diet rich in vegetables, making a plant a predominant diet enjoyable and sustainable.
