Let's Fight Back has been a jewel in my life for the past 12 weeks. I learned 15 years ago how to eat well so that I wouldn't experience those conditions that are so prevalent in the African-American community; ie high blood pressure,  diabetes & high cholesterol. With all my learning,  I still experienced highs & lows with my weight due to issues with my thyroid. 

 

Over the past 12 weeks Chasity Pritchett through her Let's Fight Back program has introduced me to how to mix different herbs and seasonings & prepare delicious dishes through the Mediterranean Lifestyle of eating. I am more cognizant of preparing fresh ingredients over processed & cooking at home as opposed to picking up so called healthy fast food. My life is forever changed & her Emblem Olive Oil is so delicious.  I was motivated weekly by the stories and determination of the woman on this journey with me. Chasity is inspirational,  always positive and authentic in her quest to change lives one meal at a time. I am going to miss these ladies that I have felt a deep connection through eating well. But I take away a wealth of knowledge and the desire to cook more at home. 

 

My Endocrinologist approves of the Mediterranean Lifestyle of eating. I will take this experience with Fighting Back and apply the teachings to my daily life and encourage family & friends to do so as well. I cannot wait for the next session but I will be eating this way forever ever🤣.
